Responsibilities
 |
Responsible for
Data/project management, programming, spatial analyses, and
reporting. |
 |
Create, edit,
and manipulate GIS data using ESRI's ArcGIS and other software.
Map geologic/engineering data using ESRI's ArcGIS, gINT,
Fledermaus, and other computer applications to support
geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and marine survey
projects. |
 |
Generate maps,
charts and cross sections using ArcGIS. |
 |
Edit and create
scripts for analyses and data production; perform geologic and
engineering analysis using GIS. |
 |
Involved with
all aspects of project execution, as well as proposal and report
preparation. |
 |
Field work as
needed including, but not limited to, surveying and other data
collection. |
 |
Work as an
integral part of a project team to resolve technical and
personnel issues on the job. |
Requirements
 |
1-2 years
ArcGIS experience, through industry or university coursework. |
 |
B.S. in
Geography, Geology, Civil Engineering, or Geology. Completion of
GIS Certificate Program preferred. |
 |
Must have the
ability to work independently, to interact with others, and to
communicate in a professional and timely manner in a team
environment. |
 |
Excellent
communication skills, both verbal and written. |
 |
Must have the
ability to be motivated, organized, reliable, and creative. |
 |
Ability to
multi-task and work within deadlines. |
 |
Personally
supports and encourages support for continuous improvement of
the company's processes including, but not limited to, the Fugro
Atlantic safety program. |
 |
Possession of a
valid driver's license and acceptable DMV driving
record. |
 |
Must
successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug
screening. |
